Menopause Cafe at Heathers offers support and information for women's health
A simple formula of tea and a chat is key to the success of the Menopause Cafe worldwide. Kingsley, Northampton has a monthly group.
There is a need for more opportunities to discuss women's health and the Menopause Cafe meets women who's lives are impacted by this, giving support as a group and sharing information. The monthly group is held at Heathers on Kingsley Park terrace.
Over the last 2 years there's been women from all walks of life, not just in their 40s and 50s but younger ladies who have started earlier, women with aggressive conditions who have given up work and are at their wits ends.
The connections made are the first real breakthrough, realising you are not the only person going through this, then the opportunity to discuss problems and what help is available is very empowering.

Social media can be quite negative so a chance to talk with real people offers manageable solutions and fact based answers.
The next Kingsley menopause cafe is on Tuesday 4th March at 2pm Other groups are active across the world, some online groups too. There's always a need for more groups. See the main website at: www.menopausecafe.net/
