‘Medi-buggy’ gifted to Northamptonshire golf course after player taken ill last year

A Northamptonshire golf club has been gifted a buggy stocked with medical supplies that will be on permanent standby to reach players who fall unwell.

The County Golf Club in Church Brampton received the buggy after a member fell ill on the course last year.

Funded by The Hawthorns independent senior living community, the medi-buggy can be dispatched at a moments notice.

The new buggy will be on permanent standby for the exclusive use of reaching any players and even includes a defibrillator unit.

Avery Hawthorns group presented the buggy to members of the golf club, including ladies captain, Pam Oliver whose husband fell ill on the golf course last year.

Pam’s husband is now recovering.
