A trampoline fitness company that has a studio in Northampton is hosting virtual fitness classes while the country is in lockdown.

((Bounce)), based in Benham Sports Arena, Moulton Park, has launched online classes that offer a low impact, high intensity, dance-choreographed workout on a mini trampoline in people’s homes.

The sessions that are 45 minutes long can burn as many as 700 calories.

Kimberlee Perry, Founder and CEO of Bounce said: “Bounce was built on togetherness, bringing all ages and abilities together, including parents and their children, to enjoy one, fun workout.

“For many, the classes are an important part of their social interaction. So when the COVID-19 crisis hit and we were forced to temporality close our 320 franchisees across the UK, I knew that I wanted to continue to provide customers with the classes they love.

“All the classes will be available at set times every day of the week so even if people are working out by themselves at home, they will know that other people all over the country – and the world – will be joining in, fuelling them with the motivation they need.”

According to the trampoline park, the added G-force and gravity from the trampoline mean the sessions are three times more effective than floor based workouts and provide all over body conditioning.

The classes are available three times a day, seven days a week. The 9am class is available as a free taster session.

The sessions are priced at £4.95 per class, or £25 for six classes and the company is also selling mini trampolines for the home workouts.
