Drone footage shot soaring above Northampton's skyline last night captured an emotional laser light tribute displayed on the lift tower - with projections from Northampton Saints' ground.

It was the first time the National Lift Tower lit up on Thursday (April 23) to pay a huge thanks to this town's front line heroes battling coronavirus.

The light show started at 8pm as the town proudly stepped out onto their doorsteps for the fifth time to clap and drum their pots and pans as part of the national Clap for Carers campaign.
