In addition, the Daventry-based mindset coach has condensed a 30-day online course to tackle anxiety into seven days to give people more detailed ways to de-stress.

"Stress is known to impact people's health and wellbeing and immune systems so, with the virus known to attack your immune system, it's good to keep yourself as far away from stress as you can," he said.

"But you also have to acknowledge what's going on and process it as best you can, which hopefully I can help with."

Christian has been a hypnotherapist for more than 18 years, helping people with anxiety and stress, as well as showing them how to change their mindset.

His Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pages are full of inspirational messages designed to make people think - something he has continued during the Covid-19 crisis.

"With social media, I always think if it helps one person, then it's worth doing," he said.

"Sometimes you can be lucky by hitting the right time or audience, and it can help more people.

"But I often get feedback from people who say that quote or that tip arrived at the right moment as if you were talking directly to me, which is lovely."

Christian's course, Anxiety and Stress SOS, was brought forward by the coronavirus outbreak and the impact he saw it was having on people's mental health.

It provides strategies to make clients calmer and better equipped to deal with stress that go deeper and are more personal than the tips he shares online.

When asked for his best advice for someone struggling at this time, Christian said: "It's difficult because everyone is different in how they react to stress.

"For some, they can take it in their stride but others catastrophise it.

"As flippant and easy as it sounds, no amount of stress and anxiety is going to change what's happening.

"What I encourage people to do is to keep them as calm as they can so they can face whatever is emerging in their life."
