The students have been learning from home since Monday (September 21) and, alongside their teachers, will be allowed back to school on October 1.

Gaynor Crutre, CEO for the trust, said: “I can confirm that a Year 3 class bubble at Standens Barn Primary School, Northampton closed on Monday September 21 until October 1.

“This action is as a result of a positive Covid test.

“The school has followed correct procedure, and taken advice from both PHE (Public Health England) and the DfE (Department for Education).
