A charity dedicated to the mental wellbeing of Northampton's young people has shut its doors for two weeks for public safety.
The Lowdown, based in Kingswell Street, says it has made the decision in line with public health advice - but asks that young people in need of help remember other national services during these "times of uncertainty".

"We know this current health crisis and during times of uncertainty, it can feel really overwhelming and challenging, but please remember you are not on your own."
In an online post, the support charity for young people aged between 11 and 25 also signposted national services the town's youth could reach if they need help in the next two weeks.
