Dedicated design technology teachers at Moulton School have been making face shields for local chemists, care homes and other care services.

Leader for student leadership at the school, Sam Hill, praised the efforts of Mrs Malone, Mr Harrison and Mr Swainson.

Mrs hill said: "They received an approved template from the Design Technology Association and got working with their laser cutter. It is lovely to see the team wanting to make a difference in the local community.

"The aim is for more than 100 to be made and distributed in the community."
