A head teacher is being sought to take over at a new primary school near Northampton once it opens next year.

Preston Hedge’s Academy Trust is currently recruiting a principal for Buckton Fields Primary School ahead of welcoming its first cohort of pupils in September 2021.

"The school will share our trust philosophy of 'fun, creativity and achievement' to creatine happy confident learners, providing exceptional curriculum experiences that spark their curiosity, their imagination and create a love of learning.

"To achieve the overall aim of fulfilling every child’s academic potential and preparing them to be confident, compassionate and tolerant citizens."

The school on the Buckton Fields development near Boughton will feature a dedicated classroom for food and design technology and science, state-of-the-art IT, including an 'IT cafe' where pupils can do homework, and drones for the children to use.

As well as a bespoke outdoor space for reception children, a multi-use games area and two halls with the latest technology plus breakfast and after-school clubs.
