The Good Shepherd Catholic Primary School staff danced, air guitared and dressed up for their sections in the video for Human League's Electric Dreams.

"The response has been overwhelming and it is lovely to read the comments passed on by parents from their children."

The Good Shepherd teachers wanted to do something for the pupils after the Government shut schools as part of the coronavirus lockdown.

Each member of staff at the Kingsthorpe school was given a different section of the song and told to be as creative as possible.

Clips vary from a fat inflatable costume to a teacher in spandex using a baby as a guitar to cutting the grass and doing craft.

They were put together to the song and posted on the school's Facebook page, where parents showed their appreciation with lots of supportive comments.

Carmel added: "We miss each and every one of them dearly and cannot wait to resume business as usual when the government deem it safe to do so.

"I am immensely proud to be the headteacher of The Good Shepherd Catholic Primary School."
