Northampton primary school children shine in colourful Easter bonnet parade

On Friday (March 27), the local community of Ecton Brook were treated to a wonderful display of creativity and springtime spirit as children from St. Andrew’s CEVA Primary School proudly took part in their very first Easter Bonnet Parade.

Wearing a wide variety of bright, imaginative and beautifully decorated bonnets, every child joined in the celebrations, bringing smiles to all who watched. From flowers and chicks, to chocolate-themed creations, the effort and enthusiasm on display was truly delightful!

The parade made its way around the local area, where residents and parents came out in support, clapping and cheering the children along the route. Passing drivers also joined in the celebration, waving and beeping their horns in encouragement.

A big thank you to everyone who came to support the event and helped make it such a special occasion for the children.

A special thank you to Friends of St. Andrew’s (FOSA), the school's fundraising charity, for organising the parade and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Their hard work and dedication made the morning a great success for all involved.

FOSA said: "Easter is one of the most important events on the Christian calendar and we wanted to share this with our local community. We are incredibly proud of our pupils and the support our families and staff have shown; from designing colourful bonnets to showing up and waving us on. We are celebrating new life and hope for the future and we wish a very Happy Easter to all. "
