Campion School in Bugbrooke has paid tribute to A-level students for their 'hard work and commitment' despite the coronavirus pandemic.
The Kislingbury Road school's head teacher, Particia Hammond, said she is proud of all of the pupils with a 'significant number' achieving top grades in a range of subjects, securing university places, including Oxford and Cambridge, and modern apprenticeships.

Hide Ad"These achievements reflect the hard work and commitment shown by our students throughout their time at Campion especially during such unprecedented times," she said.
"We have all been working within an ever changing backdrop in relation to schooling, exams and the awarding of results.
"We would like to acknowledge the support of parents, trustees and all staff throughout this challenging time."
A-level results have been decided by a calculated grade from their teachers as the usual exams were cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Hide AdBut students can choose to used their mock exam results or resit the proper test in the autumn to improve their grades as part of the government's 'triple lock'.
Ms Hammond said: "Along with all other schools we await further updates regarding the appeals process and we understand that this is expected next week.
"On behalf of the school community we wish all our year 13 students every success in their next steps towards a brilliant future. We are #proudtobecampion."
