Northants open dance championships return this March at Wicksteed Park
Dancers from across the region are set to take to the floor as the Northants Open Championships returns on Sunday, March 1, 2026.
Presented by Bespoke Ballroom – Kristina Rihanoff Drama and Dance Academy – this year’s competition will be held at a new venue, Wicksteed Park (NN15 6NJ), featuring a large sprung ballroom floor and ample parking for competitors and spectators.
The event will include solo and couples competitions for all ages and abilities, from genuine first-year beginners competing in the Debut category to rising stars aiming to make their mark. Organisers say the championships aim to provide an inclusive, welcoming environment while maintaining high competitive standards under BDC rules.
Entries and tickets must be purchased in advance via www.enter2dance.com. Competitor tickets are £35, spectator tickets £25, with free entry for children under five. Entries close on February 22, 2026.
