Northampton care home resident personal performance from Deeper Life Bible Church
Residents and Staff at Brampton View Care Home in Northampton were delighted when the members of Deeper Life Bible Church paid a very special visit to one of the homes beloved residents, Mamie Hitchcock.
Mamie, is no longer able to participate in the homes organised group activities, had spoken fondly of the Gospel Choir's performances in the past.
The care home activities team, Sarah James and Julie Going arranged for the choir to come into the home on a surprise visit to Mamie with a personal choir performance in her room. The choir members arrived, with love and music in their hearts and beautiful flowers for Mamie, which brought immeasurable joy to Mamie.
Mamie expressed how overjoyed she was and thanked the choir saying, "I'm so grateful to each and every one of you, thank you so much and God Bless you all."
The visit from the Deeper Life Bible Church not only brightened Mamie's day but also made her feel truly special. General manager Elina House Stated “ This was such a beautiful act of kindness and we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the church, its members for their kindness and look forward to welcoming them back to the home soon”.
