Menzies and DCG expand into DIRFT

Logicor has completed two lettings at Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal (DIRFT), a company spokesperson said, letting refurbished units DIRFT150 (143,155 sq ft) to Menzies Distribution Solutions and DIRFT200 (204,660 sq ft) to DCG Logistics UK.

The lettings, secured within 10 months of the previous tenant leaving, underline “continued strength of occupier demand for quality refurbished logistics facilities in prime distribution hubs,” the spokesperson added. DIRFT’s direct access to Junction 18 of the M1 and proximity to the M6 make it highly sought after, they said.

Tom Blakely, director asset management at Logicor, said the deals validate DIRFT’s appeal and praised the swift delivery of tailored space to meet Menzies’ urgent capacity needs.
