Young people from The King’s Trust Northampton South Team 67 have successfully completed their community project at The Beehive in Northampton, transforming an unused garden space into a wellbeing zone for students.

Despite working through cold weather conditions, the team showed determination and teamwork as they cleared a huge pile of rubble to create a new patio area where students can now sit, relax and enjoy the outdoor space.

They also designed and laid crazy paving along the pathway, creating eye-catching patterns that add character to the garden. As part of the project, the young people made decorative plaques for the fence, giving the space a personal touch and something lasting for the school community.

To help nature thrive in the area, the team also added features to attract wildlife, helping to create a calm and welcoming environment for both students and local wildlife.
