I’M STILL STANDING

At 19 Charles was given 3 years to live, 9 years later he finds himself travelling the world performing to thousands of people after a life-saving double lung transplant.

After being born with Cystic Fibrosis, Charles found himself needing new lungs at just 19 years old. When he was listed he was told he would need to receive his transplant within the next 3 years or may not survive any longer. 3 years later, in May 2018, he received his gift of life.

Recovering in hospital for just 16 days before being sent home, he found himself with a new lease of life and the motivation to make his dreams a reality.

6 years later he finds himself living those dreams, performing to thousands of people and headlining shows all around the globe in his self-produced production Are You Ready For Love:

The Story of Sir Elton John, a tribute show dedicated to Sir Elton John. With over 120 performances to date since its launch in June 2022, he is fast becoming the world’s most exciting tribute to Elton John.

Performing at the London O2, The prestigious Mandala Club in Singapore, headlining on board the Marella Voyager as it made its transatlantic crossing, and even playing an acoustic set at the Shard in London. Now he is setting off on the road visiting theatres up and down the UK.

Charles said “Whilst I was awaiting the transplant, it was the dream of performing for a living that kept me going. I wasn’t so much bothered about dying than worried I might never live! Having gone through everything I’ve been through I know how hard life can be. So it's a real privilege to be able to travel around the country taking people away from whatever is going on in their lives for 2 hours and hopefully putting a smile on their faces!”

Don’t miss him as he comes to THE PICTUREDROME in NORTHAMPTON on JUNE 14TH 2024. tickets can be purchased from www.readyforloveshow.com
