Here Self Storage Northampton brings people together This Christmas
As Christmas approaches, Here Self Storage Northampton celebrates the way local residents and businesses have come together in support of this year’s national Christmas Shoebox Appeal.
The Lodge Farm Industrial Estate store has been acting as a drop-off point, with donations providing gifts for children in need overseas. They have already received strong support from families, schools and businesses across the town.
Branch manager Mark Pettit said: "The Shoebox Appeal is such a simple way to do something good. We’ve had families and schools dropping off donations, businesses organising collections and customers spreading the word. It has been a lovely reminder of what can be achieved when people come together.
"Our goal has always been to make the store part of everyday life here. Our small library space, where people can take or leave a book, has become a genuine point of connection. The appeal builds on that same sense of kindness and shared purpose, which feels especially important at this time of year."
Alongside the Shoebox Appeal, the Northampton team are running a 12 Days of Christmas social media giveaway from December 13th to 24th, featuring a £50 Fortnum & Mason hamper.
Anthony Adams, managing partner at Engage Management Services, said: "Our stores are designed to play an active part in the places they serve, and the Northampton team have done that with genuine enthusiasm. Their efforts have helped turn a small idea into something that has brought people together and made a positive impact locally.
"This campaign shows exactly what we aim to do as a business. We want each site to be practical, friendly and involved in the life of the town around it."
