Festive cheer comes to Kingsley and Links View as businesses compete in Christmas tree challenge
Residents of Kingsley and Links View can look forward to a bright and festive December, thanks to a community initiative led by the Kingsley and Links View Residents Association, with the support of local councillor Farzana Aldridge.
Funding from Northampton Town Council has enabled the association to provide Christmas
trees to local businesses across Kingsley Front and Links View. With their trees already in place, around 15 businesses have been busy decorating them in their own creative and colourful styles, ready to bring Christmas cheer to Kingsley Park Terrace.
The community is invited to join the celebrations from 3pm on 20th December at The Old Bank, where there will be hot chocolate, mince pies, and carol singing to set the festive mood.
At 4.30pm, the Mayor of Northampton, Councillor Jane Birch, will arrive to judge the decorated trees and select the most festive display.
The Kingsley and Links View Residents Association hopes the event will bring neighbours together, support local businesses, and add a warm and joyful atmosphere to the run-up to Christmas.
Come along, enjoy the carols, explore the festive displays, and celebrate a magical evening in Kingsley!
