On the 17th of May, students from Earl Spencer Primary School were invited to wear green or non-uniform, and participate in a sponsored walk around the school field. The event, themed around "Moving for Mental Health," aimed to highlight the connection between physical activity and mental well-being. Students of all ages took part, showing their support by completing laps around the field while enjoying the fresh air.
The McCarthy-Dixon Foundation, established during the first pandemic lockdown in 2020, has grown from a food bank to a multifaceted charity. Today, the Foundation supplies essential food items to over 80 schools and various organisations across Northamptonshire. In addition to food support, the charity hosts social clubs focused on enhancing community well-being, offers home and garden renovations, and provides educational services.

Teresa McCarthy-Dixon, founder of the charity, expressed her heartfelt gratitude, saying, "This amazing support from Earl Spencer Primary School means so much to us. Their dedication and generosity will make a huge difference to the community. Thank you so much to everyone involved."
