Community warmth and support on offer at Northampton winter event
Residents across West Northamptonshire are being invited to come together for a day of warmth, support and connection at a Warm Welcoming Spaces Event in Northampton.
The event will take place on January 20, 2026, from 10am to 2pm, at Leicester Street Community Hub, Leicester Street, Northampton, as part of Warm Welcome Week, a national campaign running from January 19 to January 25.
Visitors will be able to access information and advice on local services, take part in digital inclusion activities to help get online, and connect with others in a friendly, welcoming environment.
Warm Welcome Week aims to combat isolation and provide practical support during the winter months, particularly around ‘Blue Monday’.
Councillor Laura Couse, cabinet member for communities at West Northamptonshire Council, said the initiative was about bringing people together in safe, supportive spaces.
If you cannot make it to the event there is support available via the online Cost-of-Living Support Hub available or by calling 0300 126 7000.
