Staff and residents at Elm bank care home in Kettering celebrated Bonfire Night with a bang on November 5th when they hosted a community fireworks display, the first since lockdown.

Residents, and staff wrapped up warm with friends and family and members of the community, all gathered around to watch a fantastic firework display.

Bonfire Night commemorates the foiling of the Gunpowder Plot when 14 individuals tried to blow up the House of Lords during the state opening of Parliament on November 5th 1605. Staff and residents along with members of the community, reminisced of times past as the fireworks lit up the night sky with a spectacular display.
