A feast of fun with top comedy line up for March at Royal & Derngate

There’s a packed schedule of comedy performances coming up at Northampton’s Royal & Derngate this March, on the Derngate, Royal and Underground stages, with highlights including Jason Manford, Ross Noble and Jen Brister.
Two of the UK’s leading improvisers, Paul Merton and Suki Webster present an evening of wonderfully unscripted, cutting-edge comedy, with their Improv Show on Thursday 19 March, when they will also be joined on the Derngate stage by special guests, to create cascades of laughter and joyful silliness.
Other Derngate gigs include Ross Noble’s latest show Cranium of Curiosities on Friday 13 March, Tom Davis’s Spudgun on Sunday 22 March and Jason Manford’s A Manford All Seasons on Wednesday 25 March.
Taskmaster alumnus and Edinburgh Comedy Award-winner John Kearns brings his brand new stand up show Tilting at Windmills to the Royal stage on Wednesday 18 March, and there are still just a few seats left for Jen Brister’s show Reactive on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 March.

There’s a chance to see one of the most exciting names to break out in UK comedy, viral comedy star Josh James when he brings his highly anticipated debut tour Doin’ Alright to Royal & Derngate’s Underground studio on Saturday 7 March, but tickets are all but sold out for Riona O Connor and Olga Thompson on Saturday 21 March.
More information about these comedy performances can be found on the theatre’s website www.royalandderngate.co.uk. Tickets can be booked online or by calling Box Office on 01604 624811.
