Two years since couple took ‘leap of faith’ to launch successful permanent jewellery venture in Northampton
It has been two years since this couple took a “leap of faith” to launch their permanent jewellery venture in Northampton and they are looking back on the successful journey so far.
Jackie and Phil Firestone are the brains behind Evermore Permanent Jewellery, with a background in selling stainless steel jewellery for Jackie and welding for Phil before he made the move to Northampton from the US.
They now offer more than 50 different chains and 60 charms, which customers can pick and choose from. The bespoke and personalised creation is then microwelded onto the individual, and this can be done with bracelets, anklets, rings, necklaces, and hand and belly chains.
Evermore Permanent Jewellery has been run from the couple’s home in Duston since the launch and for group appointments of five or more, they are happy to travel as far as needed to meet the demand.

One of the latest additions to the business is Evermore Charm Bar, a hands-on experience in which customers design their own personalised bracelets and necklaces by choosing from a curated selection of gold, silver and enamel charms.
The chosen pieces are assembled on the spot, allowing guests to create meaningful and one-of-a-kind jewellery in a relaxed setting. This is perfect for individuals, groups and special occasions.
Reflecting on the first two years in business, Jackie told the Chronicle & Echo: “When Phil moved from the United States in 2024, we took a leap of faith and started Evermore together. We never imagined how many people would trust us to create jewellery that marks some of the biggest moments in their lives.”
Jackie and Phil have been privileged to celebrate engagements, weddings, anniversaries, new babies, friendships and create memorial jewellery to help people keep loved ones close everyday.

“Every piece has a story behind it,” Jackie continued. “As a small family business, every booking, every recommendation and every customer has helped us grow. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us over the last two years.”
The pair are especially proud that their work has been recognised nationally through being featured in Next Face Magazine, winning a Top 100 Mobile Business accolade at the UK Small Business Awards, and reaching the finals again in 2026.
“It’s lovely to know that the hard work behind the scenes is being recognised,” said Jackie. “As we start our third year, we’re excited to keep growing, introduce more keepsake jewellery and continue creating pieces that people will treasure for years to come.”
