Top high street retailer closes in Northampton's Grosvenor Centre
A women's fashion store has closed in Northampton town centre.
Monsoon has shut up shop in the ground floor of the Grosvenor Centre, next to Superdrug.
The shutters have come down and a poster has gone up in the window saying that the store was due to close on July 16.
It advises shoppers that the nearest Monsoon shop is now in Market Place, Rugby.
Alternatively customers can still shop online.
Last year it was announced that Monsoon, which also owns Accessorize, would be closing stores after a fall in sales and profits.
Accessorize which sits within part of the same unit as Monsoon, opposite Primark, remains open.
