Successful transformation at hidden gem events venue has already gone down a storm among visitors
The successful transformation and expansion of a Northampton events venue and walking location has already gone down a storm among visitors.
T’s Coffee, located at the old Pitsford Quarry in Harborough Road, is settling into the newly extended space and adding the finishing touches ahead of its upcoming events.
The coffee shop was taken over by the owners of The Courtyard Creperie around a year ago, after Bela Kacsmarik and Tracey Onley first started popping up there two years prior.
The growing roster of events, including mini markets, craft fairs and Dog Fest, had outgrown the T’s Coffee space and landowners The Bennie Group made the generous decision to improve it.

From extending the gravelled area to create an “amazing, huge space”, to renovating the muddy first part of the woodland walk, Tracey says it has opened up its full potential.
“We had a couple of really busy events and we had outgrown it,” said Tracey. “We were so disappointed seeing people on dog walks in the overgrown and boggy area. It was a let down to a lovely day out.
“The owners of the quarry offered to extend it and we grabbed it with both hands. It has shown what they are capable of doing in a short period of time.”
Describing the makeover as a success, Tracey says that recent events have shown how versatile it now is – and enquiries have already been made for private events.

There are two huts available for local businesses and charities to pop up in, and Tracey welcomes others to join T’s Coffee and The Courtyard Creperie.
The creperie is at the location most Sundays and other food trailers are invited to join them, with Loaded Spud Catering and Brooklyn Brownie Co. having attended in recent weeks.
When asked how it feels that T’s Coffee has taken off over the past year, with more people discovering events at the hidden gem, Tracey said: “It’s such a nice feeling. It attracts people who are really into the outdoors.
“It provides a sense of calm, and mental wellbeing is so important. Having a coffee in peace, calm and quiet helps you mentally.”

Mental wellbeing sessions are in talks of being added to the offering at T’s Coffee, in addition to the mini markets on the third Sunday of each month.
25 traders are being welcomed to the next craft fair on June 23, as well as T’s Dog Fest on September 15 and Bite Club earlier in September.
From locally produced sausages, vegan pizza and gluten-free bakes, to pottery, artwork and bespoke leather items available to shop, do not miss out on the craft fair later this month.
Anyone planning to go to T’s Coffee is urged to ignore online maps and sat navs as it takes you to a home in Pitsford village. It is also not based at Pitsford Reservoir, although it is just a 30-minute walk away.
Instead, attendees should use what3words to find the venue using @park.pocket.park. The entrance is located at the old Pitsford Quarry, just past Hassett Fencing on the opposite side of Harborough Road.
