This the second time James and James Fulfilment, which stores, packs and ships products on behalf of nearly 400 online stores from its base on Brackmills Industrial Estate, has made it onto the list.

Co-founder James Hyde said: “We’ve seen many more people shopping online this year and we’re proud to have operated safely throughout, to get both necessities and creature comforts to those that need them.

"This has accelerated the already-rapid growth trajectory we were on. Securing our second Fast Track 100 ranking is a testament to that.”

James and James has seen its growth accelerate this year as more consumers turned to e-commerce throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

This year has also seen the firm secure an £11 million investment in March, lease a brand new building in May and recruit more than 200 people in the run-up to Christmas

Bambino Mio, based in Brixworth, specialises in reusable nappies and experienced a 400 per cent increase in UK online sales in April.

The firm wrote on its Facebook page: "We want to thank all of you for helping us spread the cloth love and putting reusable nappies in the spotlight."

The Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s 100 private companies with the fastest-growing sales over their latest three years.
