The Lamport Swan, on Harborough Road, owned by the reputable McManus Pub Company, is currently on the market for £495,000. A sales advert reads: “The Lamport Swan is currently operated under management as an unbranded food led country pub/restaurant. The sale of this business presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced multiple operator, or a first time buyer, to acquire a trophy asset. 6. Princess Alexandra
The town boozer, in St Edmund's Road. has been on the market since 2022. A Fleurets spokeswoman said: “When the current owners purchased the property back in 2013 it was a rundown old fashioned pub. “Since then, they have worked to convert it into one of the most stylish bars in town, whilst still retaining a very strong emphasis on craft beer. The success of this speaks for itself with Princess Alexandra developing a strong and loyal customer base.” The freehold of the property is on the market for £425,000. Photo: Fleurets

8. The Sun Inn, Kislingbury
The Grade II listed thatched-cottage establishment in the heart of the village, is on the market. Landlord of nearly 12 years Paul Huband has explained the reason behind the move. He said: “We’re all getting a bit older, I’m 60 this year and if there’s an opportunity for someone else to come in and run it then the opportunity is there. If not, we’ll continue in the same passionate way we have always done. We all live locally so we have a general interest to see the pub doing well. We’re 11 and a half years into it now and it’d be nice for somebody else to come along and take it up.” The site is up for sale for £350,000. Photo: Everard Cole Ltd, Cambridge
