The shop closed for the final time on Wednesday, March 25.

The spokesman said One Stop is supporting colleagues, who have the option to explore alternative roles available within One Stop.

Reports have been made to this newspaper that the shop closed down to regular shoplifting.

One Google review reads: “They need to get a security guard! Nine out of 10 times I've been in, the shop has had it's shelves swept clean by thieves! This leaves the poor workers sat in fear, waiting for when they are going to be stolen from next!”

One Stop was asked if it closed down due to reported regular shoplifting. It did not respond.

The nearest One Stop shops are in Gladstone Road, Dallington, and Main Road, Duston.
