Trilogy Active to host mental health experts at Chamber of Commerce Event.

Businesses from across Northamptonshire are being invited to a FREE event where they can hear first-hand how they can drive improvements across their firms by placing mental health as a priority.

Trilogy Active, the towns leading health and fitness providers, in partnership with Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce, is welcoming people to Duston Sports Centre at a Business Before Hours Breakfast on Wednesday 19th November 2025 from 8.30am.

“We are delighted to be hosting this important event.” said Managing Director of Trilogy Active, John Fletcher. “Businesses supporting their employees with their mental health and their wellbeing will see fundamental improvements to their performance.”

“Businesses that place an importance on the well being of their people see an increase in productivity and engagement as well as reduced costs. They experience improved employee retention and enhanced employer reputation.”

“There is also evidence of reduced absenteeism and presenteeism and we know that healthier employees take fewer sick days, and employees who are mentally and physically well are more present and focused when at work.” he said.

The event is an informal network with like-minded business individuals over light refreshments before work and is FREE for anyone to attend.

Those attending will hear from HR expert Rachel Collar on the four pillars of wellbeing who will be followed by Ashley Riley, a local business owner who has experienced a traumatic mental health experience and will share that journey, what he has learnt and what other can do to improve their mental health.

Those attending will then hear from mental health expert Dr. David Smart who will share his work on ‘Action for Happiness,’ the world wellbeing movement and what people can learn from this.

“We are delighted that Rachel, Ashley and David will be joining us and sharing their experience and knowledge.” John Fletcher continued. “Our aim is to provide a friendly and accessible opportunity for businesses big and small to hear from experts and those who have experienced real mental health challenges.”

“There are still places left and we would encourage anyone who is interested in increasing the productivity of their business to join us for breakfast at this important event.”
