Northampton vehicle leasing firm shortlisted for six national and regional business awards

Staff at a vehicle leasing firm based near Northampton are celebrating after being shortlisted for six national and regional business awards.

Silverstone Fleet Management and managing director Scott Norville are up for three Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards, two Northamptonshire SME Business Award and a National SME Business Award.

"To be finalists in so many top award categories is a fantastic endorsement," he said.

“Like many businesses, we have faced some tough challenges during 2020 but we have pulled together as a team and gone above and beyond to support our clients and each other.

“To be shortlisted for these awards this year, in particular, is a real boost to myself and the team and recognition that we have made some worthwhile decisions during this tricky time to keep our service levels up and our team happy and safe.”

At the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards, Silverstone Fleet Management is a finalist for 'marketing campaign of the year' for its #SingForCynthia campaign.

The appeal for people to film themselves singing, post the video on LinkedIn and challenge others raised more than £1,400 for Cynthia Spencer Hospice.

The Preston Deanery-based company is also nominated for 'employer of the year' and Scott is on the shortlist for 'businessman of the year'.

Silverstone Fleet Management is up for the 'service excellence' and 'website of the year' gongs at the SME Northamptonshire Business Awards.

While Scott is on the SME National Business Awards' shortlist for 'lockdown leader of the year' too.

The Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards winners will be announced on February 25, while the SME Northamptonshire and National Business Awards will be revealed in March.
