The Sixfields site was saved from closure in June last year when the company went into administration and shut 125 restaurants after the first coronavirus lockdown.

Frankie and Benny's at Riverside Retail Park remains operational and reopened today (Monday) for outdoor dining following the latest national shutdown, according to its official website.

Parent company The Restaurant Group has been contacted for comment.
