More than 100 jobs on offer at Northampton factory making PPE to meet global demand caused by coronavirus

More than 100 jobs are on offer at a Northampton factory following the surge in global demand for personal protective equipment (PPE) equipment during the coronavirus pandemic.

Medicom, a multi-national Canadian manufacturer and distributor of infection control products, is hiring 134 employees at its plant on Brackmills Industrial Estate, with scope for more in the future.

The roles will support the production and delivery of procedural respiratory face masks, surgical gowns, gloves and disinfectants across the UK and internationally.

Recruitment firm Michael Page will be organising applications for a wide range of permanent roles, including manufacturing, logistics, engineering, supply chain, as well as corporate positions in Medicom’s UK head office.
