Lights out, game on: New Northampton padel venue launches glow-in-the-dark sessions

A new padel centre in Northampton is offering something a little different...glow in the dark court sessions.

Padel Social House, which opened in Brackmills last month, launched Glow Padel on Monday May 18, bringing what they say is the first-ever glow-in-the-dark padel experience to the Midlands.

Jasper Freestone, Glow Padel co-founder, said: “We are the only trademarked Glow in the Dark Padel provider in the UK. The lights go off, UV lighting takes over, and the courts transform completely glowing balls, neon nets, UV-reactive markings, and a high-energy atmosphere with music throughout. Sessions run through to Sunday June 7. “This is the first time the concept has come to the Midlands, and it's already proven a huge hit elsewhere. We recently hosted in Bradford at Salus Padel, where sessions sold out and the reaction from players was fantastic. Previously, we have been in London and the South West in Exeter. Northampton is next, and we'd love the local community to know about it. “Glow Padel is backed by Hyped Events, one of the UK's leading glow sports providers with over ten years of delivering sell-out glow events nationally – from glow football to glow dodgeball – and padel is our latest and most exciting format yet,” Jasper added.

Padel Social House is based The Kestrel Centre in Salthouse Road.
