She impressed the company with her hard-working, ‘can-do’ attitude and a CV packed with valuable work experience placements.

Orange Juice director Daniel Owens said: “As a company, we have been fortunate to grow our client base throughout lockdown and needed an extra pair of hands to help with the increased workload.

“We enjoy a good relationship with the University of Northampton and knew exactly where to turn to. Lucy was recommended to us and within minutes of meeting her on a Zoom call we knew we had found the perfect candidate.

“She has slotted in seamlessly to the team and has made a real difference. We look forward to working with her and helping her to develop her skills further in years to come.”

She said: “Having the opportunity to get into the world of work before I have even graduated is amazing and I’m really grateful to have this opportunity. The team at Orange Juice have been really welcoming and I’ve enjoyed rolling my sleeves up and getting stuck in.

“The work I’ve done as part of my university course, as well as the time I’ve spent on work placements, has served me well and allowed me to hit the ground running.”
