These businesses have put trust in their customers through this concept which relies on honesty, with visitors left to their own devices as the sheds are located on driveways or outside homes.
The concept is simple. The sheds are stocked up with sweet treats all clearly priced, customers choose what they want, add up the total, and pay via cash or card.
Those paying by cash place the exact money into the tin as no change is given, and those paying by card scan the QR code to complete the transaction online.
These unique sheds have started popping up across Northampton and beyond, and have been well-supported by the community. It gives customers the chance to try what the business has to offer for an affordable price, and opt to support local while doing so.
