To celebrate her milestone, the team at the Northampton depot presented her with £750 in Very vouchers and a bouquet of flowers.

“I have truly enjoyed my time with the company and this has been down to the people I have met and worked with over the years," she said.

"I would like to thank them for their loyalty, commitment and hard work.”

Julie first joined Yodel in 1990, when the business was known as Securicor, carrying out a cash in transit role.

She then started delivering parcels in Bedford in 1996 and was then transferred to the Northampton depot.

In 2002, Julie began working in customer service, a role she has stayed in as she enjoys the variety, including pre-briefing of drivers, customer claims and handling lost property.

Depot manager Paul Heathcote added: “Julie is a highly valued member of the operations team in Northampton and adapts to the varied roles required of her quickly and efficiently.

"Her professionalism and experience coupled with her bubbly personality make Julie a popular member of the team.

"It has been a pleasure working with her and I congratulate her on an outstanding achievement of 30-years continuous service.”
