The site named Abington Place will also provide a new children’s play area, an allotted amount of land for open space and electric charging points in all open market homes.

Gary Belcher, managing director for Countryside’s south midlands partnership branch, said: “It is with great pleasure that we have received planning permission for these much-needed family homes; our team is already on site working hard to bring this exciting scheme to life.

“The introduction of electric car charging points is a testament to our ongoing sustainability efforts, as we continually look for ways in which to make our homes even more eco-friendly.

“Abington Place will not only provide high quality and sustainable homes for sale, but will also bring significant investment into the area through the creation of a new public green space and will cater to the increasing need for affordable housing.”

There is a sales and marketing suite at the site of Blackthorn Road for anyone who wants to find out more about the new homes.
