and live on Freeview channel 276

As well as "would you like fries with that," diners will be asked: "Can I take your name and contact details?"

Hide AdMaccy-Ds at Sixfields and St James Retail Park are offering eat-ins for the first time since being forced to close by the Covid-19 crisis on March 23.
But things will be very different following successful trials at a few select restaurants — first of all, you need to give name and contact details to comply with government guidance for test and trace.
That can be done using smart phones to either scan a QR code or visit that webpage to leave the name of the lead member and number of people within their group, a phone number, the date and time of visit and the restaurant number.
Each restaurant will carefully manage the number of customers inside to ensure social distancing and avoid congestion. Food will be served to tables with customers ordering directly via the My McDonald’s App, at the till or kiosk.

Reopening the dine-in area will enable some restaurants to take part in the Chancellor’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme, offering 50 per cent off dine-in bills, up to £10 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in August.
Drive-thrus in and around Northampton started slowly reopening last month but the two town centre sites remain closed — although McDelivery is available from the Drapery.
