Which McDonald's drive-thrus are open again from today in and around Northampton
The burger giant is firing up it's fryers and grills at Sixfields, Weston Favell, Riverside, Kettering Road and St James Retail Park from 11am among 497 drive-thrus reopening today across the UK.
But police tweeted warned: "Be prepared for a wait. Remember to use contactless payment if you can, or download the app to reduce contact further — £25 spend limit, so no feeding the whole street!"
Other drive-thrus in Northamptonshire have also opened at Wellingborrough, Corby, Kettering, Towcester, Daventry, Rothwell and Raunds but all town centre outlets without drive-thlrus are still closed.
Massive queues formed outside some of the 168 restaurants which reopened yesterday, prompting a barrage of complaints about congestion on major roads and littering.
Some drive-thrus were closed after being swamped by hungry burger-hunters.

McDonald's have already issued pleas for customers to be patient, warning it will take longer to get served as staff follow social distancing guidelines in kitchens.
Chief executive Paul Pomrroy said: "We are glad to be back but things will look a little different and may take a little longer, so please bear with us.
"We have fewer employees in our kitchens to enable our teams to social distance and work safely
"We will have a limited menu — no breakfast or shakes — and will open from 11am to 10pm. And we will cap your spend at £25 to make sure there is enough to go round."
