Shoppers arrive at Northampton's Primark with SUITCASES after months of closure
Eager shoppers have been waiting outside the Grosvenor Centre from 7am this morning (Monday).
Most were waiting for Primark to open having missed the shop for a number of months and hoping to bag some bargains from last season’s clothes as well as pick up summer clothes for their children.

School pupils in uniform were seen ahead of lessons restarting after the Easter holidays and workers in high-vis also bagging some bargains ahead of their shifts.
Customers are being greeted at the door by Primark staff who are asking shoppers to sanitise their hands upon entry.
One shopper told the Chron: “It was pretty good to finally be back to Primark. I needed basics. I wear tights on a daily basis and these are the only ones that fit properly so I had to come today.

Another shopper who arrive at around 7.40am added: “It was alright to be back but we were a bit disappointed with this store. We’d seen a lot of stuff on TikTok which they didn’t have. We did manage to pick up some bits though. We weren’t looking for anything in particular we just wanted to come down because we hadn’t been shopping for so many months.”
Independent shops, pubs, hair and beauty salons, as well as gyms are all set to open today as part of Boris Johnson's roadmap out of lockdown.
