Amazon and Morrisons link-up arrives in Northampton

The new link-up between Amazon and Morrisons is now available in Northampton.

The two retailers announced that customers are now able to do their full Morrisons food shop on Amazon.co.uk, which includes free same-day delivery on orders over £40 as part of the Prime membership.

A spokesperson said: "This announcement will make Morrisons even more accessible to customers that use Amazon.co.uk and the Amazon app.

"Prime members can find the Morrisons products that they know and love, from everyday essentials to favourites such as Morrisons The Best range and Morrisons Market Street selection, including bread freshly baked by Morrisons bakers and hand finished cream cakes from its cake shops. The range includes handmade products from Morrisons’ butchers and fishmongers, and a selection of fruit and vegetables by quantity, providing even more choice.

"Prime members will benefit from Amazon’s fastest grocery delivery offer, usually as fast as same-day for orders placed before 7pm in most areas," the spokesperson said.

As well as free delivery in two-hour windows, Prime members in the area can now choose delivery in a one-hour window on all orders over £40 for a delivery fee of £3.99.
