BITE STREET: Northampton street food pop-up is a HUGE success over the bank holiday weekend

Hundreds of people turned up to the pop-up over the bank holiday weekend to try the delicious street food from different vendors

Over the May bank holiday weekend, Bite Street ran its second event since the return of outdoor hospitality in England and it proved to be a huge success.

Bite Street is a street food pop-up that comes to the County Cricket Ground in Abington once every two weeks. It is compiled of a variety of independent food vendors offering a selection of tasty dishes.

Every two weeks, the vendors are switched up so that visitors can look forward to new tasty options at each event.

Their first comeback event from April 16-18 saw hundreds of pounds being raised to build a new outdoor children's play area at Northampton General Hospital. One pound was donated to the cause for every purchase of Patty Freak's 'Freakin Rainbow Burger'. A donation of £400 from that one event was donated to the hospital.

The second Bite Street event over the May bank holiday weekend saw tickets quickly sell out, which prompted the organisers to add additional times and tickets!

Their next event will take place on May 14-16 and tickets are available to purchase now.Let's take a look at what this week's street food vendors had to offer...
