An bullying prevention charity has received a £1,000 funding boost from Persimmon Homes to support families in Northamptonshire.

The charity, Kidscape, was founded in 1985 to support children and families impacted by bullying. Kidscape set up their parent advice line in 2016 to provide ongoing support to families accessing bullying awareness and resilience workshops.

"Kidscape is a well-respected charity, supporting young people across our region, so we are proud to help with this Community Champions donation.”

The Kidscape Parent Advice Line was selected to benefit from Persimmon's Community Champions scheme, which sees two donations up of to £1,000 donated every month to support local good causes.

The advice line is the only one entirely dedicated to parents and carers, who have concerns about child bullying. The Kidscape Parent Advice Line provided support to 165 families from 2019 to 2020.
