Four UAA volunteers will be taking part in a skydive on Sunday 7th September 2025 to raise funds for our charity.

Every jump fuels the United African Association’s mission—from empowering workshops and transformative job clubs to supporting the homeless with dignity and care. Your support helps us soar higher, together. For more information and to donate please visit https://www.gofundme.com/f/skydive-for-uaa

Emmanuel, Frances, Lauren & Catarina will be jumping out of a plane at 12,000ft on Sunday 7th September, to fundraise for a small charity that does mighty things.

United African Association (UAA) is one of the most joyful and resilient organisations we’ve ever encountered. They support African and wider migrant communities in Northamptonshire, through foodbanks, allotments, career advice, online wellbeing sessions, drumming, community gatherings and many more.

Volunteering with UAA has changed us. They welcomed, supported and inspired us. We didn’t expect to feel so deeply connected to a charity, but UAA really opened their arms, shared their stories and showed what care really looks like. It’s a story of respect, solidarity and community.

With the cost-of-living crisis, a hostile attitude towards immigrants, council funding cuts and other rising pressures on communities, UAA’s work matters more than ever. Every pound raised helps them provide food, care, training and hope.

You can help us by donating any money, however large or small.

  • £30 = one week of cultural appropriate food box for a family
  • £30 = one week of community hub session for wellbeing
  • £50 = one week of van fuel for food parcels delivering for vulnerable households
  • £50 = one night of emergency accommodation for a homeless person when no other help is available

Thank you for helping us jump for something that truly matters.
