The supernatural will be coming to the open air as a play by William Shakespeare comes to Northampton next week.

Macbeth performed by the Masque Theatre Company runs from Thursday July 23 to Saturday August 1 at the Abington Park Museum Courtyard.

Doors open at 7pm and performances start at 7.30pm

With its themes of the supernatural, the elements and its castle setting William Shakespeare’s Macbeth has been cited as influence on Gothic literature and film.

Martin Williams plays Macbeth while Nicola Osbourne playing Lady Macbeth.

Rob Kendall plays Duncan, John Myhill is Banquo, Robin Armstrong is Macduff and Rachel Bedford is Lady Macduff.

Tickets are £10 for adults £8 for concessions and £5 for children. A family ticket is available for £26 (2 adults and 2 children). Cash or cheques only. Tickets are available on the door only and can not be booked in advance.

As the show is an open-air production, performances are dependent on the weather. Seating is provided.
