Review - Gangsta Granny at Royal & Derngate, Northampton
An easy to relate to story by adults and children alike with David Walliams fantastic sense of humour, this gets it so right.
The cast play the parts so well, the scooter act had the children in hysterics and lots of jokes that they found hilarious.

Hide Ad11-year-old Ben is played by Ashley Cousins so well and the children seemed to relate perfectly to his scenarios and waited eagerly for the story to unfold and the mischief to happen.
Granny played by Gilly Tompkins was brilliant and the children’s favourite character full of jokes and constant giggles.
The set was very well done and creative capturing what you may picture from reading the book. The costumes were well thought out and matched perfectly to each character.
The timings of the show were perfect and kept the children (and adults thoroughly entertained)
I would highly recommend this production for children and adults a great all round show for all ages to enjoy!
