Northampton pub to host local improv group for free Halloween show

A local improv comedy group will be bringing their free Halloween show to a Northampton pub this weekend.

The Pomfret Arms will host Canny Funny on Friday (October 27).

The group, who performs regularly at the Pomfret, will be delighting the audiences with scenes, songs and sketches all made up from the audience suggestions. All of the games will be Halloween themed and the audience, as well as the cast is invited to dress up.

The group has been going from strength to strength having been recently featured as improv team of the month in online magazine 'The Phoenix Remix'.

Canny Funny will also be joined by improviser, comedian and storyteller Dave Gotheridge, who will weave a tale of wonder and intrigue all from a few suggestions from the audience in his show Dave's Mental Tentacle Pentacle .

The show starts at 8pm and doors open at 7:30pm.
