Northampton Frenchie group invites wwners to December 21 festive meet-up at Hunsbury Country Park
A much-loved community group for French Bulldogs is preparing for its annual festive meet-up at Hunsbury Country Park later this month.
The group, founded nearly seven years ago by Sandra Holloway, has grown into a friendly fixture in the local dog-lover calendar. Members gather on the last Sunday of every month, with the Christmas edition proving a particular favourite.
Sandra said the meet-ups have become a highlight not just for the Frenchies, but also for their owners — affectionately referred to within the group as the dogs’ “human slaves”.
This year’s Christmas meet will take place on December 21, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., and all French Bulldogs and their owners are welcome to attend. Festive outfits are optional, but always appreciated.
Sandra, along with fellow organisers Mark and their Frenchie, Miss Tilly, said they would be delighted to welcome newcomers: “The more the merrier,” she said.
Anyone wishing to join the group online can find further details on its Facebook page.
