Chief executive Jo Gordon said: “We’re delighted to be able to announce our reopening season in the Filmhouse.

"Our teams have been working so hard to get everything in place to open our doors for a safe return to our cinema screens.

"We have received wonderful messages of support from customers during these difficult times and we can’t wait to welcome them back.”

Cinema-goers will be able to return to the much-loved venue for the first time since March, with some extra measures in place to ensure everything is COVID-safe for audiences and staff.

The season also features writer-director Harry Macqueen’s powerful portrait of enduring love, Supernova, and there will also be the chance to see Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster Tenet.
